I’m struggling to maintain a routine at the moment. Last week I had a good thing going. I’d work 9-12ish, take an hour’s break and go again til 4pm or so. Then I’d eat (one of the many benefits of working at home, I can eat when it suits me) and finish off about 6pm. This week I’ve been skipping the hour’s break at lunchtime and the result is that I’m brain dead by mid-afternoon and have to stop.
It’s useful information. Although it’s not too much of a concern at the moment because the work-load isn’t too heavy, when the pressure’s on I don’t want to lose three working hours because I didn’t take an hour’s break.
